Great Find if you are a Rugby Fan

Stayed at this site overnight early September. Both Mandy and Martin were helpful and the booking in process was easy. This was a fantastic place to stay for us as we were visiting Kingsholm for a rugby match. It is literally a five minute walk to the rail station at Cam/Dursley and from here a very quick 10 minute rail trip to Gloucester. It is a peaceful place but as stated it is a short dap to the nearest station and trains do pass by the site. Personally this was not a problem as the location is great. Will stay again and do recommend.

Very tidy

Easy to find and only a few miles from M5 junction. Site is spacious, level and really well kept with stream running through. Pleasent enough but no particular views. Owners friendly and helpful.

immaculate

possibly the cleanest site we have visited! very enjoyable weekend, train station 5 min walk ,with trains going to Gloucester/Bristol or Bath. The small village is handy for fuel or small supplies. There are a few pubs within walking distance 20mins.The birds wake you in the morning, even though the train station is near its not a problem for us it was a positive!Everything on site is well set out and labelled,water/waste recycling etc. We shall return!

Perfect retreat

Just two nights here but would have loved to have stayed longer. Such a lovely, warm and friendly welcome from Martin and Mandy. Very peaceful and safe site. Lots of birdsong and we also enjoyed watching the trains on the nearby railroad. A great location for visiting the local areas, and beautiful walks directly from the site, perfect for for walking too. We are new to the Campervan life so we were very grateful for Martin giving us loads of advice and tips. There is a fantastic camping and caravan shop a short drive away, enjoyed browsing there and bought a few things but could have spent a fortune. This is a very well looked after very level, secure site. It's rural but with full amenities nearby. Thanks Martin and Mandy for a wonderful stay.

We have recently stayed at The Beeches CL in Cam near Dursley for 5 nights. What a find. It is a lovely, well maintained and peaceful CL. Martin and Mandy were very helpful, friendly and very informative. We will go back again just hope we can get in when we do.

Thanks very much regards Mandy

".As an intercity train driver, over the last few years I have regularly viewed The Beeches (albeit at 100 miles an hour)! When passing through Cam and Dursley Station and have always admired how spacious and nice looking the site was whilst being located within the beauty of its surrounding area, so much so since our recent acquisition of our Motorhome, we couldn't wait to be able to stay at The Beeches, I would like to Thank Martin and Mandy for their help and advice and accommodating our every need, now we can't wait until our break there in a few weeks time, see you soon"

Just back from a gem of little site - The Beeches CL near Slimbridge.

Easy to access and pitches and grounds very well kept - owner, Martin, very helpful and friendly. Plenty to do in the area - great walks along the canal and fantastic views from the top of Cam Peak. Would especially like to thank Martin for his time in helping us sort our problems out this morning - which turned out to be a fundamental school-boy error which won't happen again!!

Motorhomers visited 4 times.

"Martin and Mandy,
Many, many Thanks for accommodating us last night in the awful storm we so appreciated all your help!, Jim and I visited many places in Spain including Oliva and Bontara Park, thanks to your recommendations, with best wishes Jim and Joanne"
PS, Una bosa de Cava por tu!! Gracias xx Scotland

Jayne and I were overwhelmed with your Cl site. It is by far the best that we have visited and we will return when you reopen next year. It is only 50 mins from door to door Thanks for your recommendation about the pub and Indian restaurant Martin and if the offer for November 2018 is still available we would love to be considered please
Thanks again

We stayed for a week at this site to enjoy a holiday near Cirencester. Martin and Mandy were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. On arrival Martin guided us to our pitch on their immaculate, beautiful, well kept and mown site. They also provided us with lots of information on places to visit and where to dine. With the train station just around the corner it was nice to take a train into Gloucester and avoid the hassles of driving. We would recommend this site for anyone wanting to stay in this part of the country.

We have just returned home after 3 nights from this fantastic CL. The work Martin and Mandy have done to transform this area is amazing, each pitch, is grass and has electric hook up. The site is no more than 10 mins walk to the Railway Station, as already mentioned noise from the trains are inevitable but we were never bothered about it. If you are lucky you will see the wood peckers, swans and their young ones. There are public footpaths direct from the site; unfortunately, due to us wearing shorts and tee shirts we could not complete 2 of the walks as there was too much overgrowth of weeds and nettles. We would again like to thank Martin and Mandy for sharing their land and we will be returning again in the near future.

As their first ever CL visitors, only just having opened, we can only say WOW. What a beautiful setting. Just perfect with plenty of space, easy to find and very easy access. The chemical toilet waste the best we have seen yet, easy height and access. Water and grey waste excellent also. Mandy and Martin the owners where most welcoming and very helpful. Plenty to see in the area and only 5 minutes from the train station for train to Bath and Gloucester just 20 minutes. Had a great 8 day stay and will be back.

We love this place on our first visit. We love tidy and well kept sites but we don't enjoy noise of any type and though a close railway line and the hum of the M5 worried me I found I quickly ignored or became de-sensitised because of the other many positives about this lovely site. We live on what was a farm in north Pembrokeshire, our lives are only interrupted by tractors and cows farting so we we feel qualified to recommend this site regardless of the M5 and train line. This really is a lovely site.
